Naidoc week 2026 🖤💛❤️
This year looked different than any other year I have ever had in my small business. My whole world turned upside down within 24hours I had gone from a happy, fully functioning human to someone who needed everyone around me to function and just get through each day. I was saddened that my busiest time of the year would have to look a little different than what I had envisioned!! 😔
You never know who will show up for you until you can no longer show up for yourself… and man did my family show up! While I write this I shed a tear, not because I am sad but because I am so blessed that my amazing kids and husband all pulled together and helped triple time!! They are my most precious people in my life. 💜
To my husband who has done 6 markets, many early morning starts, endless driving, setups and all those smiles and yarns to all our customer. You sir are my true hero, the way you show up for me and have my back is truly everything. I love you beyond words and always remember, one day all of this hard work will pay off when we are sitting on an island drinking cocktails. 🫶🏽💛
My beautiful oldest daughter, flew up to iron bridge with all my stock and did her first full setup market on her own. This required her to leave her babies and husband behind and I will be forever grateful that she did this for me. Also going and being with her dad at the Naidoc market to keep him company. I love you baby mumma is so so sooo blessed to have you. 💞
To my boy who attended a few markets to help his dad, and on days his dad wasn’t home he was looking after me. I love that at 13 you want to help your family and do what you can. Love you mate. 🫶🏽
To my moo for holding the fort down at home when dad was busy, and mum couldn’t get out of bed. You help wherever you can and mumma loves you always. 🧡
To my customers, organisers and mob businesses thank you for such an amazing Naidoc week. Even though I didn’t get to see anyone or attend any events I am so thankful to each and every one of you. 🖤💛❤️
