I’ve worked incredibly hard to get to this point, and the road here has been anything but easy.

I’ve faced setback after setback — disappointing samples (and I mean really disappointing samples), lost money, design challenges, unexpected obstacles, endless lessons, and moments that tested whether I wanted to keep going at all.

At the beginning of this year, after hearing countless concerns about children online, I stopped and listened. The more I learned, the more it opened my eyes. It honestly scared me enough to step back, rethink things, and do my own research. The world can be a frightening place, and some of the things I discovered were things I wish I could have remained blissfully unaware of.

One thing I want to make very clear is that my decision to significantly reduce and change how much I share children online comes from a place of love, not exclusion. The children and families who have supported me over the years mean more to me than I could ever put into words. I will forever be grateful for every photo, every message, every order, every event, and every family who trusted me to be a small part of their journey. This change was never about creating distance, it was about making the best decisions I could with the knowledge I now have. If anything, it comes from caring more, not less. I am still designing with you in mind always 🤎

Then, right in the middle of all that, I faced one of the biggest challenges of my business journey. I received a cease and desist regarding my business name and made the difficult decision to completely rebrand and start again. It was a lot to carry at a time when I was already feeling overwhelmed.

With so much weighing me down, I stayed quiet for a long time. I questioned everything. Should I walk away? Disappear? Let all the hard work I’d poured into this fade away?

The answer was no.
