But for those who are cutting back or cutting out alcohol it can also feel quite excluding.

The good news? Inclusion can be as simple as offering a delicious alcohol-free option alongside everything else.

If you close your eyes, you could almost imagine yourself on the Italian Riviera…

Or better still - somewhere in the Australian bush, under a gum tree with an ice-cold ETCH in hand 🌿🍊

This easy garnish is inspired by the Aperol Spritz - (just minus the sugar and booze!) featuring RNG Orange + Quandong sparkling, fresh orange and rosemary is giving long lunches, golden hour and “just one more sip” energy ✨

We’re not opposed to enjoying ETCH straight from can…but if you want to get fancy- here’s some simple suggestions for garnish to enhance the social ritual.

We don’t usually suggest serving ETCH with ice as it can “numb” the flavour…a bit like adding ice to wine…but we also don’t judge- if you enjoy ice with your ETCH, carry on 😉🍸👌🏽

💜PLM – Davidson Plum + Strawberry Gum
A squeeze of fresh lime and a couple of pretty edible flowers (we love violas).🌸🍋‍🟩

💚ZST – Fingerlime + Lemon Myrtle
Fresh cucumber, mint, and lime for an extra burst of zesty goodness. 🥒🌿🍋‍🟩

💛APL – Bush Apple + Kakadu Plum
A slice of lemon and a Lemon Myrtle leaf really make the flavours sing. (No Lemon Myrtle? Try a sprig of thyme instead.) 🍸🍋🌿

🧡RNG – Orange + Quandong
A slice of orange and a sprig of rosemary. Think Aperol Spritz vibes… but with a healthier twist. 🍊🌿👌🏽

❤️MTN – Raspberry + Mountain Pepperberry

This week we’re talking the ultimate pear-fect pairing… 🍐😉

Our APL Bush Apple + Kakadu Plum is the kind of drink your cheeseboard has been waiting for.

Crisp, delicate, and sophisticated enough to sit beautifully beside a gorgeous spread of cheeses… or to fly delightfully under the radar when poured into a wine glass 👀🥂

Tonight’s pairing?

Pear + fig + creamy gorgonzola + walnuts = absolute magic.

Pear-fect for entertaining.
Pear-fect for happy hour.
Pear-fect with APL.

🍐 Pear & Gorgonzola Bites:
• Pears sliced into rounds
• A little fig jam
• A small wedge (or blob!) of creamy gorgonzola
• Sprinkle with walnuts

Method:
Slice pears into rounds, top each slice with fig jam, add gorgonzola, finish with walnuts… then try not to eat them all before guests arrive 😉

Serve with ETCH APL Bush Apple + Kakadu Plum for a little happy hour moment that feels extra special.

I nearly didn’t share this…

The clunky attempt to get that grapefruit garnish to behave had me questioning everything 😅

But I decided to swallow my ego and post it anyway. Because I’m human. And in a world where so much content is perfectly polished (or not even real), I think there’s something really important about showing up as we are - imperfections and all. 🤪

Thanks to for capturing this moment and gently reminding me that the “imperfect” bits are often the best ❤️
