We have a Maton in the shop for some precise work, repairs and a setup!

Here’s some of the work below:

- Re-seated and glued in 11 loose fret ends

- We had 10 frets with medium to heavy fret wear causing buzzing and intonation issues. To address this, we gave it a full fret level, crown and polish, using the ‘Erlewine Neck Jig’

- Shaped and fitted a new bridge saddle, which added more sustain, improved intonation and gave the guitar body and balance between frequencies across the fingerboard

After a clean up, and a setup. This guitar has come back to life, feeling better than ever!

Here is a Custom Pine Body in Transparent White Finish.

I’ve Installed a USA made bridge using the correct Cold rolled steel and dimensions to the original 50s bridge.

Seating the string ferrules flush, adding electronics and fitting parts.

There’s also some pictures of the before and after of my finish checking. Subtle in person, but in certain light gives this build added character!

Here’s a couple of guitars I worked on this afternoon.

Wired up 3 electric guitar jacks that had grounding and connection issues. Now sounding perfect.

This acoustic guitar pre-amp wasn’t working. Resoldered the battery box for the acoustic guitar, with a nice clean and re-string! Back to normal and lookin’ slick!
