It has been a privilege to have been a part of this extraordinary project. Bach’s St Matthew Passion as reconstructed by Mendelssohn, played on classical/romantic instruments at 430 pitch. The performance was moving and emotional. The sense of shared experience will be long remembered. Huge respect to all that made this happen.
