🖤💛❤️ Blak Brotha Coffee at Awabakal Newcastle NAIDOC 2026 💙💚🤍

Blak Brotha Coffee was proud to attend and support the Awabakal Newcastle 2026 Flag Raising and NAIDOC Event this week.

The day was a great success, bringing community together to celebrate culture, strength, pride and 50 years of NAIDOC. We pass on our thanks to the organisers and are grateful for the opportunity to be part of such a meaningful event and to connect with community, Elders, families, organisations and supporters on the day.

As a majority First Nations owned coffee beans, merchandise and coffee machine supplier, Blak Brotha Coffee is about more than coffee — it is about culture, connection, opportunity and supporting First Nations business growth.

Thank you to Awabakal Newcastle for the opportunity to attend, contribute and support community. We look forward to continuing to share our coffee, our story and our business with communities across Australia.

This NAIDOC Week, Blak Brotha Coffee proudly joins communities across Australia in recognising and celebrating 50 years of NAIDOC — a powerful legacy built on culture, advocacy, truth-telling, leadership, resistance and pride.

The 2026 theme, “50 Years of Deadly”, honours the Elders, trailblazers, community leaders, organisers, artists, families and First Nations communities who have shaped the NAIDOC movement and continue to carry it forward with strength, purpose and cultural pride.

NAIDOC Week is more than a celebration. It is a reminder of the strength of our people, the importance of honouring our histories, and the responsibility we all share to keep walking alongside community with respect, trust and genuine partnership.

We acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the lands on which we live, work and gather. We pay our respects to Elders past and present, and honour the voices, stories, cultures and enduring connections to Country of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.
