Today we pause from talking about pasta to say something simple and from the heart 💗!

Special shout out to our Piera, the heart of Piera Pasta Fresca: thank you for keeping the all pastas rolling on time.

Thank you to every mother in manufacturing, the ones who run shifts and still make it home for bedtime. To the ones who built businesses, trained teams, solved problems, and never stopped showing up.

To the mothers who inspired us to work harder, think smarter, and treat people right.

To every mom behind the scenes at the companies we work with.

👩‍🍳 For today’s episode of Off the menu Piera is sharing the recipe for the budino (pudding) di Minerbio, a very local recipe from the commune of Minerbio, near Bologna! If you like flan or crème caramel this recipe is a must try, as it’s a delicious, almond-y spin on a classic.

In this series we share Italian recipes that we don’t see much here in Australia. This one is so local and homeley that it’s nicknamed the grandmother of all grandmother desserts 🫢

Have you ever tried raviole di San Giuseppe? Episode 4 of Off The Menu (where we share Italian recipes that we can’t find in Australia!) is for those with a sweet tooth! This rustic Bolognese sweet is traditionally made to celebrate St Joseph’s (Giuseppe) Day and the end of winter. Simple but very nostalgic — just like the recipes we love bringing to the table ☺️
