Meet Marlee (an absolute Wonder Woman!) She literally does not stop. A retail whizz, co-owning the most amazing small family business for the majority of her life. Interior design extraordinaire (you should see her house), master of events and styling, plus so much more. Most importantly she is a wife and mum to 3 beautiful kids… she is also my cousin.

I am so happy to let you all know that Marlee is the NEW owner and creative director of The Preserved Stem, I could not be happier that this wonderful business is able to give someone else the opportunity that I had, of working from home while parenting my young kids.

Marlee expressed an interest in taking it on after some chats about me having to let something in my life go…. and I didn’t hesitate as I know what she is capable of (far more than me)….

Marlee is not new to The Preserved Stem. She has been on this journey from the beginning, she knows the products and is a creative genius like no other. So I know it’s in great hands. There’s so much more I could say about her butttttt I’ll let her tell you all about herself soon.

I’ll still be involved in business through the transition and step in to help in busy times…. but this baby is officially Marlee’s now and I can’t wait to see where she takes it 🧡🧡

We have some big and exciting changes happening!!

For those of you who don’t know me, I’m Jenna, and I started this passion project turned business about 4 years ago. The Preserved Stem is a creative outlet and an incredible opportunity for me to work from my home studio while raising my son Charlie (now 9) and twin girls Laia and Mahni (almost 6).

I am lucky enough to work with some absolutely beautiful customers and businesses. Them trusting me to create custom pieces for their most special people, spaces, weddings and events. And when I started I wouldn’t have imagined in my wildest dreams where this journey could have taken me. I am beyond grateful.

I’ve met so many amazing people and small business owners along the way. My online customers have been unbelievable and so loyal. Again, pinch me.

All of this only possible with the love and support from my fab friends and family. The ones that turn up to help me at markets, trial my classes or new products, cheer me on, shared my biz, purchased my flowers. You all know who you are. My biggest support from my kids who think I’m the best florist in the world (I’m literally the only one they know). And my husband who has built stuff/ done technical SEO things and spreadsheets/ moved stuff around/ packed stuff/ rebuilt stuff/ moved more stuff/ fixed spreadsheets etc…

Grateful every single day and also ready for the next chapter (which will be shared in the coming days).

Lots going on, and have not prioritised sharing much lately… how is it October already? Wedding bouquet from April? Or was it May? Anyway some time earlier in the year. The request was burgundy/ deep red, gold, neutrals and greens.
