Many thanks to the Devonport lapidary club for hosting an excellent gem show over the weekend.
This week decided to work up a bit of chrysoprase and a piece of flourite. Most people seem to prefer the darker chrysoprase but personally this lighter colour is my favourite. A bit of a change from opal 😄

In lovely devonport this weekend for devonport lapiday club gem and mineral show. If yiu are in northern Tasmania call by and see us at East devonport school gymnasium. Great spot for a show and about 40 other displays of Gems and things. For those outside Tasmania, devonport is on the north west coast of the island. Beautiful lush farmyard.

A super busy weekend at the Lapidary Club of Tasmania gem show. Huge thank you to the organisers for a very well run show in such a comfortable environment. And a huge thank you to everyone who called by to say hello and to those who chose their special pieces to take home.
Next weekend we are in Devonport, so we won't even bother to unpack the car. If you are in Northern Tasmania we hope you will call by to see our display. 😂
