Hello there 👋 I often get asked what exactly is Neuro-Linguistic Kinesiology (NLK) and in a nutshell, NLK combines talk therapy (counselling) and body work (acupressure, meridians, energy therapies, bioenergetics, etc).
As an NLK practitioner, we use the traditional aspects of kinesiology together with Neuro Linguistic Programming, to facilitate health and reduce stress which has a negative impact on our bodies physically, emotionally, and psychologically. Each session creates awareness of the changes required, in a specific and measurable way, and focuses on improving performance in any area of a person’s life. Muscle testing is the tool we use to bypass the conscious mind and access the innate intelligence of the body so we may detect and correct imbalances which can relate to stress, nutrition, learning challenges, injuries, and so much more.
By bypassing the critical, conscious mind, we can find the true source of discomfort, neutralise the sensations, and set the intention to develop positive habits, identify what is significant to your life, become aware of and then change self-limiting beliefs and behaviours, thus creating a life of awareness, growth, psychological and emotional security.
I use an holistic approach to your development and will consider a range of factors including stressors, nutrition, sleep quality and environmental aspects. Corrections will be provided as the aim of each session is for you to feel better and to actively live a full life - emotionally and physically - which is easily, and swiftly, achievable with NLK. With a background rich in working with people - Psychology, Human Resources, Tertiary Education and a variety of alternative therapies - I proactively work with adults and children of all ages, to address any issue you are facing.
