Because they needed a space in the grid 🐣 we’ve been waiting patiently for our very own eggs to hatch, and the day finally arrived!

And what better way to have chicken snuggles than with the sweetest waterproof apron by 👏

We may be quiet lately with so much going on behind the scenes but we promise there are some big things coming from us (if I can put down the fluff balls and get back to work 😅).

Sometimes all you need is a little nature. Especially if you’ve got kids like ours who seem more at home in the Wild than at home 😅

It’s been busy here, busy with big feelings all around. So we took a mini trip to reset and reconnect, to each other and to nature.

If you ever get a chance to head to a Redwood forest, make sure you do, there’s something so wise about them towering above strong, still, and quiet.

And now it’s back to reality! Orders are caught up on, and my creativity is slowly returning, which means it’s time to finalise new projects and designs!

Raw Mum Moment: I broke a plate this morning. I lost it. I was not the mum that I always strive to be. I hadn’t eaten, served yet more food to the kids that was refused, had just sent out an email for our seconds drop that had the wrong time on it, had dishes and washing piling up around me, and was being yelled at by our big girl.

Looking back they were all small and insignificant problems, but were also a sign of a hugely overwhelmed mum.

But you know what made it all better (aside from obviously repairing things with my daughter)? It was stepping outside into the sun where big girl was in the garden with her dad, where she offered me a tomato plant leaf and said “smell this, it’ll make you feel calm”. And with that little act of kindness and snippet of nature my big feelings melted away.

Never underestimate the amazing job you’re doing, nor the power of nature 🫶

A little tip we often share with customers ✨

When your specimens start looking cloudy from lots of hands-on play (like these 4-5 year old ones here), a little hand polish with Autosol Acrylic Polish can help bring the clarity back.

You can grab it from Bunnings for around $15, and all it takes is a cloth and some elbow grease to polish once or twice.

Just a heads-up — it’s great for surface marks and general wear, but it won’t remove deep scratches (those are signs of a very well-loved specimen).
