Every year our garden gets more beautiful, especially in Autumn. The thing with maples is that each variety has its own clock so they dont all turn for Autumn at the same time. We have lots of trees that have lost all their leaves already. Some of the trees in these picture include Emerald Lace, Emperor 1, Skeeters Broom, Ever Red, Autumn Fire, Vitifolium, Shaina,Inaba Shidare, Germaines Gyration, Waterfall, Chantilly Lace, Shirazz.

Here is a Shaina Dwarf just starting to turn. Its going to get more colorful. This one was a fairly large one when it went in, we have a few at that size for sale, its taken 4 years to get this big. They are fairly fast growing in the right conditions, ie enough water sun wind and fertiliser.

Now here is a serious Orangeola. Its been in the ground for about 8 years and has one of the thickest crowns Ive ever seen. Its near 20 years old and its weep is still relatively high but its very very thick. Cant wait to see it in another 8 years. Its been slow growing weep length wise thats for sure.

This is a massive Germaines Gyration, Ive loved watching this tree do its thing every Autumn for the last 7 years. Its over 20 years old and about to escape its 65cm pot. Its a one off tree and spectacular, sad to say it sold recently. Gone but not forgotten

Red Pygmy is a pretty slow grower. This one got ring barked 6 years ago by something out of the rainforest but it came back and is really looking good this year. We have about 6 of them and every one of them grows at half the rate of other uprights but its worth the wait in Autumn, brilliant colors
