What a fantastic few days at Sheepvention Rural Expo | Agriculture Show in Hamilton 🐑✨

Sirene Sea Pearls are part of Sheepvention 2026 and the town of Hamilton will come alive for the event of the year

I’ve been working with New Zealand paua pearls lately and I’m completely smitten 💙💚

Paua shells are something else. Those deep blues and greens shift and shimmer depending on the light, and when the abalone forms a blister pearl inside, you get the most stunning blue colour you’ll ever see in a stone. It’s honestly one of nature’s best kept secrets.

I did my honours on abalone back in the late 70s, so this one’s close to my heart. I know these shells inside and out, and I love bringing that knowledge into every piece I make.
The best part is you can choose your own pearl size and we can work together to design something just for you. Every pearl comes with a certificate of authenticity too, so you know exactly what you’re getting.
