It’s That Time of Year Again – Cracker Night 2026!

As the cooler months settle in across Tasmania, there’s one thing we always look forward to… Cracker Night.

For us at Spark Fireworks, this time of year is always something special and 2026 is shaping up to be one of our busiest yet!

We’re proud to be delivering and supporting a number of fantastic community events across the state this season. From the North West Coast to the East Coast and into the Midlands, it’s great to see communities coming together to celebrate, and we’re honoured to be part of it.

This year, we’ll be lighting up the sky at Burnie Bright Night, bringing another big display to life for the Burnie community. We’re also excited for the return of fireworks to Bridport with Fireworks from the Lighthouse, a truly unique coastal event. In addition, we’re supporting the Lake Leake Inn Cracker Night with Bo Jenkins, helping ensure another great night for locals and visitors alike.

Every one of these events represents the trust that organisers, councils, and community groups place in us, and that’s something we never take lightly.

We’re incredibly grateful for the continued support and confidence in what we do. Behind every show is a lot of planning, passion, and precision, and it means a lot to be chosen to deliver these experiences.

Cracker Night isn’t just about fireworks, it’s about community, tradition, and creating moments people remember.

We just want to take a moment to say a huge thank you to everyone who made tonight’s World Street Eats Easter Extravaganza so special.

To the organisers, World Street Eats thank you for trusting us and for backing local. We’re incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be part of such an amazing event.

To our family and friends, your support never goes unnoticed ❤️

And to all the legends who stayed back to help with pack down and clean up, we appreciate you more than you know.

Shoutout to Max and Zane for being roped into bridge security duties and keeping everyone out of harms way!

✨ BURNIE NEW YEAR’S EVE – THANK YOU! ✨

What an incredible night in Burnie, three fireworks displays, two locations, and an absolutely amazing community turnout 🎆🙌

First and foremost, a huge thank you to my family. Your support, encouragement, and patience are what make it possible for me to do what I do.
A special thanks to Jacqui O'Neill for your help and dedication, and to Stephen Ruth Simmons for looking after the kids, I couldn’t do these shows without you ❤️

A big thank you to Burnie City Council for delivering such a great New Year’s event for the community, and to Strait Link for their incredible community commitment and support in allowing us back on the wharf this year, it made a huge difference 👏

Huge appreciation also to the Burnie Athletics Committee for their unwavering commitment to providing the highest-quality event possible. Your passion, organisation, and effort help make New Year’s Eve in Burnie something truly special 🙌

A massive thank you as well to Jimmy and his family, who travelled over from Victoria to support the shows. Your experience, teamwork, and willingness to jump in and help played a big part in achieving the results we did, we’re incredibly grateful 🙏

🐾 PET SAFETY REMINDER – BURNIE NEW YEAR’S EVE 🐾

Spark Fireworks will be lighting up the Burnie sky tonight at 9:30PM and Midnight! 🎆

If you’ve got pets at home, now’s a great time to make a quick plan to keep them calm and safe throughout the celebrations.

✔️ Keep pets indoors with windows closed
✔️ Turn on the TV or some calming music
✔️ Make sure they’re microchipped & ID tags are up to date
✔️ Give them a comfy, secure space to relax
✔️ Walk dogs before the fireworks begin

Let’s ring in the New Year while keeping our furry mates safe and stress-free ❤️

Something really special is in store this year, not 1, not 2, but 3 fireworks displays lighting up NYE!

At 9:30pm, you’ve got two ways to experience the magic:

✨ West Park Oval – Burnie Athletics Carnival
Get up close to the action with a full-impact fireworks display right from the oval!

✨ Burnie Wharf – “The Good Ol’ Days” Return
At the same time, thanks to the amazing team at Strait Link we’re bringing back the classic wharf fireworks we all remember and love!

And then, at midnight, the final spectacular fireworks show will also fire from the wharf to welcome 2026 with a bang!
Burnie, it’s going to be huge. See you on the foreshore! 🎆🔥
