And after a notable absence, I am back! Life gets busy and before you know it, it's almost Christmas again 😂 But that doesn't mean I haven't been busy. Have had orders coming in and have been trying to build up my stock for the market. So, apologies.
These are some of the recent projects that have gone out (wedding boards galore and proving very popular for 'that something different', personal gift ♥️).
Feedback has been fantastic, and word of mouth is spreading.

Hello from warm, sunny and humid Brisbane everyone! 🌞
Thought is was time I put up my latest creations. 🙂

If your'e looking for a unique present, whether it be birthday, anniversary or wedding, I am now offering these lovely boards, either on their own or as a set with tea light holders.

This is all done by hand, by me, with my trusty little wood-burning tool.
I can put whatever you like them.

Round boards are 30cm and $60. Set is $90.
Will send anywhere, but postage is extra.

Hello everyone! I hope the New Year is treating you well so far.
I have been busy the last week making some special orders for people, which has involved my 'other special' talent 😅 and I was enjoying myself so much I just kept going and made a couple of extra!
So, I now have 3 of these small cheese boards (47cm L x 17cm W) which I am selling for $40. They are all different and done using Pyrography - wood burning.
With Australia Day almost upon us, you can wow your family and friends with something unique!

A very Happy New year to you all 🎉 I hope everyone enjoyed their break and are ready for 2024!
I have been very busy and would like to say a big Thank you to all those who reached out and placed orders. Hope my creations have brought a "little light into your lives" 🙂
I thought I'd share with you the ones I made for my mother for Christmas.
87 years old - doesn't need anything, doesn't want anything 🥴 gets harder every year!
So I decided I wanted to pay a bit of a tribute to her (and mine, I guess) Dutch heritage.
Great success and she loved them . . . . Only problem now, is what to get her next year! 😂

Our neighbours of 22 years have decided to give this 'caravanning thing' a go and bought themselves a nice little camper. So before they set off yesterday, I presented them with a small gift - their very own tea light holders. Should go nicely in the van, or that romantic dinner under the awning. 😅

Hello. My name is Marina and I am delighted to bring you my unique, handmade, wooden tealight candle holders, through The 'Gumnut Hut.'
Each set is a one-of-a-kind creation, made from recycled timber, and the majority of which feature . . . gumnuts, of course!
I cut the timber, I drill the holes and I decorate them!
I am thrilled that I have found something I truly enjoy doing (my husband calls it my therapy) and I am just as pleased to be able to share them with you.
