💚👽☄️💥🌟This is Moldavite from the Czech Republic..which was formed around 15 million years ago when a meteorite struck the earth in what is now southern Germany, vaporising surface rocks and flinging the molten material into the atmosphere at hypersonic speed where it cooled and then fell to earth as glass droplets 250-450 kms away from the impact site. It is mostly comprised of earthly elements but has traces of the meteorite itself, bringing a little bit of of outer space to each one!
This one also has Lechatelierite (quartz) inclusions, adding to its beauty and authenticity. (There is heaps of fake moldavite out there just made from bottle glass!)
This is a collectable piece as it is quite large at 13.87g, and looking for a new home. The asking price is $950 (aud) Please DM if you are interested.

Thanks to the lovely Jacqueline for commissioning these two beautiful boulder opals cut and polished by me and beautifully set in silver by ..
I love the watery vibe of both these opals- one a vibrant green and pink rockpool, the other a wave in the cosmic ocean!

A Christmas commission heading off to a new home today 💛💚❤️..
Necklace made from emeralds,
tigers eye, picture jasper and stirling silver
beads.. I usually work with boulder opal but not exclusively.. this pendant is possibly rainforest jasper 🤔.. anyone have any other ideas?

This piece looks amazing in real life and shimmers with all the colours of the rainbow! It can be challenging to photograph opal as it changes in different qualities of light.. this heart can appear quite humble until the sun comes out and then wow!
The heart is made from Queensland boulder opal and attached to the necklace with 18ct recycled gold.
The necklace beads are made from blue sodalite, emerald, carnelian and apatite.

Hi everyone, some of you may know that I have become a rock nerd and especially love working with Australia Boulder Opal. I cut, shape and polish each piece myself… and this year have been also learning silversmithing, so that I can turn these amazing rocks into wearable pieces. I have been experimenting with different kinds of jewellery making, and am going to start posting my work. For some reason I am crazy shy about sharing so it’s a real edge. This first one is one of my favourite rocks.. It is boulder opal from Queensland.. it doesn’t have a lot of sparkles, but has beautiful colours and patterns which are 100% formed by Nature over millions of years. The necklace is made from tiny beads of emerald, tigers eye, turquoise and picture jasper.. and the loop attaching the pendant to her necklace is 18ct recycled gold.
