Great to work with Dr James Forsyth today on the tonal finishing of the new Allen GX335 in Holy Family catholic church Lindfield. Jim played the previous Allen at Holy Family from 1986 until 2008.

New Allen GX-335 is in place. Now for some tonal finishing with Allen’s proprietary software.

Thanks to a generous benefactor, this 49 year old Allen in a church in suburban Sydney is being replaced by a new 3 manual Allen with APEX technology.

A Content Cambiare 312 just like this one is headed for its new home in Melbourne.
As well as the Classical sample sets it will include a theatre organ sample set….

A 3 manual Allen tab console is available. (pic below for illustration only). Located in Sydney.
NOT fully operational but the console is solid and suitable for a project. Keyboards are adjustable Allen wooden core keys.
There's also an external 5 channel amp rack and 5 speaker cabinets.

It is now many years since I received the first (of several) phone call from organist friends asking me to “please sell this church a proper church organ” after they purchased a large and expensive home entertainment organ. (Only special people who had proved their credentials were allowed access to the small pipe organ in the gallery!.)
Thanks to a new and enlightened management team, this used Allen is now installed and will serve this community for decades.
