Nike Air Max Plus “Yellow Jacket” (commonly referred to as TN7).
Released in the late 2000s, with reissue cycles through the 2010s, this yellow/black colourway became one of the most globally recognised Air Max Plus variations.
Adopted across France, the Netherlands, the UK, Australia and New Zealand, it carried different meanings in each scene — from banlieue street identity to grime and road culture, rave/hardcore scenes, and suburban streetwear uniforms.
The name “TN7” is not an official Nike label, but a community nickname used to classify this later-era pattern separate from the original gradient releases.
A shoe recognised not because it was marketed —
but because people claimed it.
