✂️ I’ve been a little quiet on here this week… but for a good reason!

Behind the scenes I’ve been busy preparing for my very first Bridgetown Winter Craft Fair in August.

Every handbag starts just like this – carefully choosing fabrics, vinyl and hardware before the first stitch is sewn.

This was the beginning of one of my favourite collections, and I’m so excited that it’s now complete.

I can’t wait to share all six pieces with you. 💜👜

My sewing room is currently overflowing with fabrics, vinyls, linings and half-finished projects as I prepare for the Bridgetown Winter Craft Fair in August.

Every bag starts with a collection of ideas, colours and textures before it ever reaches the sewing machine.

✂️ What’s on my cutting table today?

A little peek behind the scenes as I work on one of the bags destined for the Winter Craft Fair in August.

It all starts with choosing the right combination of colours, textures and hardware. Then comes the fun part – watching the design slowly come together.

Sometimes the original plan changes along the way, and that’s all part of the creative process. 😊

This one features smooth matte black, embossed floral faux leather, chocolate accents and antique brass hardware.

I can’t wait to show you the finished bag. ❤️

🌏 A little OC Designs throwback…

These three bags started life at my sewing machine and eventually found homes far beyond Western Australia.

✈️ The blue and gold cork crossbody found a home in Sydney.

✈️ The navy floral handbag travelled all the way to the UK.

✈️ The fairy tote made its way to Melbourne.

Not bad for a little handmade business.

Seeing my creations find homes all over Australia and even overseas is pretty special.
