My beautiful peacock friends clearly want some attention and introduction….
Meet Kevin, Karen, Diamond, and Ice. They are free ranging now and follow me around like puppies. This is literally outside my back door. I know some of you guys have noticed that I always have peacock feathers somewhere at my booths to represent what we are all about at Jaded Vintage and this crazy little vintage life we are building.

This warm weather has me thinking about spring break vacation already!
There is a cool old train station in Ottumwa that has always made me think about traveling somewhere by train.
I have taken a train on short jaunts out of NYC before but this time I’m talking cross country.
Has anyone else traveled by train?
I imagine myself wearing a vintage hat and dress sipping on tea in the dinning car 😂 ☕️👒
What are your experiences traveling by train?

This warm weather has me thinking about spring break already!
Looking for new experiences and since we live in a town with a train station I have been thinking about hopping on a train and getting outta here!
Has anyone ever traveled by train?
I have taken short jaunts out of New York City, but I’m talking across country this time.
What are your train experiences?
I imagine myself sitting in the dinning car wearing a vintage dress and hat sipping tea ☕️ 👒😜
Would you do it again?

They started tearing down my high school 😞. Lots of fond memories in this building! It hasn’t been the high school for many years but was still used for other grades and then administration. I love to see growth and development in rural Iowa but it’s always sad to see history and nostalgia disappear with it.
