Let's let go of the stigma behind childhood trauma. We have all experienced it so let's share our stories & help each other heal by taking responsibility for any abusive actions. Guilt is a perfectly normal feeling when you have wronged or hurt someone. Sit in that feeling, accept your part in the abuse and genuinely apologize & try to make things right with your *gasp!* "victim". Let's take the stigma off that word, too. People who are victims feel like they can't even use that word anymore, like it's a dirty word, a cuss word. It's not, it's a word that describes that someone has gone through a lot. Don't isolate victims, make them feel welcome & heard.
