Jolene just turned 2 and today she gave us a healthy 50 lb bull calf by Leo. A good new momma.

Eli Mae had her first calf today, a bull weighing 39 lbs and 23 inches tall. Out of Leo and is probably polled. I was worried she was too fat but she got the job done this afternoon by herself while we were at work. Thank God for good mammas.

Look what we found at chore time tonight. Another 34 lb and 21 inch tall bull calf. This one is also premature, out of Peggy Sue by Leo. He is strong and is doing well.

This little guy, 34 lbs and 21.5 inches tall, decided the oven was too hot and came out 10 days early. Out of Anna and by Leo, he has learned to appreciate shade today and is doing well. Fall calving has started.

A blessed Sunday, came home from church to a new heifer. Out of Jingle and by Leo. She is 50 lbs and 23.5 inches tall. Jingle has excellent productivity and is consistently giving us a calf every 330 days.

Thank goodness for smart old cows, we had snow 4 days ago but SS Lady Bella ET, 11.5 years old, knew to wait until today when it was 64. A nice heifer calf by RTR Sugar Leo, 46 lbs and 26.5 inches tall.
Was a great day to be born. Peggy Sue had her first calf, a bull by Leo, 40 lbs and 22.5 inches tall.

43 lb 22.5 inches tall heifer tonight out of Anna and by Primero. Came a little earlier than we expected but is doing great.
This little bull showed up this morning. Out of Mary by Leo, 32 lbs and 21.5 inches. He and his mom will be headed to their new home soon.
8/20/19 polled heifer. 00 frame, great bloodlines, halter broke and gentle.
Emmet had a good day showing steers. 2 seconds on his second day of showing.
Boy it was hot, but we had fun showing.

Great end to a long day. Jingle took care of business all by herself. A nice bull out of Leo, 40 lbs and 23.5 inches tall. Her second calf is less than 11 months younger than her first calf
Today Trace showed Ellie Mae and Jolene. They did great and both got 3 rd place and gained some new fans.
