WHATS IN THE BAG?!
Follow along as intern, Georgia shows us how to properly store items from April’s bag!
Blueberries 🫐: In the fridge, middle or bottom shelf
Cabbage 🥬: Best stored whole and unrinsed until you're ready to use it. Place it in a plastic bag in the crisper drawer of your fridge.
Carrots 🥕 (bagged): Carrots should be kept loose in the vegetable drawer of your fridge. If your carrots come with the leaves intact, cut these off before storing.
Collards 🌳 (bagged): Put the bag of collard greens in the crisper of your refrigerator. Keep them there until you’re ready to use them.
Kiwi 🥝: The best way to store whole kiwis depends on the level of ripeness—in general, you can store ripe kiwis in the refrigerator and unripe kiwis on a kitchen counter. If storing an unripe kiwi on a countertop, keep it at room temperature and away from direct sunlight.
Oranges 🍊: Oranges are kept best in cold places—to maximize quality, the crisper drawer in your fridge will prove most fruitful.
Potatoes 🥔(bagged): Store uncooked potatoes in a cool, dark place with plenty of air circulation — not in the refrigerator.
Snow Peas (loose): Peas will last 4-5 days in the fridge if placed in a plastic bag.
Shelf stable milk 🥛: With higher temperature pasteurization and special packaging, shelf-stable milk can be stored safely without refrigeration. Always use it by the best-by date and store it in the fridge after opening.
Corn Flake Cereal 🥣
