What's really better than the smell of new stationary? Back-To-School season is here so we thought we would spotlight one of our FAVORITE stationary makers: .designs !

Alice started Dotori Designs after a quarantine virtual craft night with friends turned into a spark of a business idea. She started selling sticker designs on etsy, and since then has blossomed into a fully fledged online business with the most aesthetic study ware around! What's with the name? Alice is Korean-American and wanted to bring a part of her into my shop. Dotori means "acorn" in Korean. She decided on "dotori" because she loved how something as small as an acorn, when given love and the right care, can grow into a huge oak tree. She hopes that something that started out as a small Etsy shop, will turn into a huge shop (possibly offline) one day!

Central VA is about to get a little more local! Shop Made in Virginia is opening its first location outside of NOVA as a way to highlight more VA makers.
