Ascension of 'Abdu'l-Baha 2020

‘Abdu’l-Baha, (1844-1921), the beloved son of Baha’u’llah, God’s Messenger for this era, played a unique role in not only the Baha’i Faith but in all of religious history.

‘Abdu’l-Baha was deeply spiritual, was devoted to God and had special insights into Baha’u’llah’s teachings. He was a living example of generosity, unconditional love for all and selfless service to others. He became the perfect role model of how to put the Baha’i teachings into practice. To those who knew and loved Him, he became “the Master.”

When He passed away at the age of 77 on November 28, 1921, in Haifa, Israel (then Palestine), His funeral was attended by 10,000 mourners of numerous religious backgrounds. In spontaneous tributes to an admired personality, ‘Abdu’l-Baha was eulogized as One who led humanity to the “Way of Truth,” as a “pillar of peace” and the embodiment of “glory and greatness.”

"Emergence of the New World Order - The Unfolding Process of Integration and Disintegration".

Lawrence M. Miller: For the past thirty-five years Lawrence M. Miller has worked to improve the performance of organizations and the skills of their leaders. His expertise is derived from hands-on experience creating change in the culture of hundreds of organizations. He began his work in youth prisons after recognizing that the learning system in the organization had exactly the opposite of its intended effect – increasing, rather than decreasing, dysfunctional behavior. He established the first “free economy” behind prison walls. Mr. Miller has authored Spiritual Enterprise based on Baha’i principles, and nine other books, among them American Spirit: Visions of A New Corporate Culture, which was the text for Honda of America's course on their values and culture; and Barbarians to Bureaucrats: Corporate Life Cycle Strategies, which draws on the history of the rise and fall of civilizations to illustrate the patterns of leadership and evolution in corporate cultures. He has also authored Team Kata and Getting to Lean, both to help organizations create lean organizations and effective teams and team leadership. He has recently completed six online learning courses now available on Udemy. He lives in Potomac, MD with his wife Nadia and his golden doodle Bella.
