Terrie has been a part of the Rustapalooza family for years. We send our deepest love and condolences to the Vintage Living Marketplace family as they walk through this difficult time. We celebrate Tim's life with you all.

My friends, I have a broken heart. My husband passed away on Friday morning unexpectedly. Please join us Saturday August 14th to Celebrate Tim.
4240 Peppertree St Cocoa FL. Calling hours are 9:00 am till 7:00 pm.
BBQ and the fixings will be served starting as early as 11:00. The food is being prepared by our family and friends. Please come hungry.
Tim was called their friend by so many.
Please share with anyone you know that knew Tim. We’ve tried to reach everyone and hopefully we didn’t miss anyone. I know news spreads fast and we are hoping all has been contacted.
Thank you for all your prayers and good food and supplies and mostly your love!! He will be missed. As Taryn posted He’s Gone Fishing!

We have been keeping quiet as we wait for the St. Marys Police Department to investigate the theft of our owl but it has been since June 30th and we have not heard a word. This week another crime was committed in our beloved park and we wanted to bring the theft of our owl to the public’s attention as well. I am offering a $100 reward to help find our bronze owl that was stolen from a 10 foot high gazebo in the waterfront park. We worked so hard in collaboration with Rustapalooza Vintage Markets to raise the funds for this public art project and are devastated that someone stole one of them so quickly. I know it has been almost a month but please help us look. We appreciate your help in spreading the word and hope skipper can be found.

Like many of you, 2020 has not been anything like we could have ever imagined. The vintage world is relatively small community, and I know at least for my show, we’re a big family.

I’ve tried since June to make sense logistically how we can have our Holiday show in November with all the CDC requirements, social distancing expectations, and advisements. And, folks, this is not the answer any of us want to hear, and I especially don’t want to be the messenger of, but sadly I must go with both compassion, and common sense, and cancel the Rustapalooza Holiday event on November 14th.

I’ve put it off as long as possible, y’all know me, I’m going to figure something out…but, with the amount of labor alone required to meet the social distancing guidelines, limiting the spacing of vendors, and shoppers, and heck, even a person cleaning each port-a-potty for 8 straight hours, logistically, to pull it off, it just doesn’t make sense. With virus numbers still climbing in Georgia, I’ve taken every suggestion, idea, and option under advisement. We’ve brain-stormed, we’ve prayed, we’ve cried, we’ve thrown our hands in the air a time or two, we’ve waited to see, and, at the end of it all, I sadly must say, let’s just wait till 2021.

To say I’m heartbroken is an understatement. To know so many will be disappointed is a hard pill to swallow. Knowing all my vendors are itching to set up, and my sweet loyal customers are just waiting to shop that field of vintage yummy-ness is gut-wrenching. But, I just can’t, in good conscience do it.

I love you all too much to place anyone at risk. And I know, it stinks beyond belief. But, for now, we will just have to wait.

My prayer for you all is health and safety. We’ll see you all again soon!
