The cardboard box that we recognize today was created by accident in the 1870’s by an American printer named Robert Gair. Mr. Gair was making paper bags in his shop when he accidentally cut a paper box where it was only meant to be creased.

So excited to receive my new Stormy Krover flannel face cover.
Stormy Kromer was one of several American manufacturers that helped in the fight against the deadly COVID-19 virus by making much-needed personal protective equipment for use in several upper Midwest rural medical facilities.
The flannel face cover is intended for personal use with 10% of all sales donated to two Michigan charities. Way to go Stormy!

Dear Friends,

On the evening of Sunday December 22, an 8” water main running the length of our office broke. The break wasn’t discovered until 7 a.m. on Monday. When it was finally discovered, the water in our office was approximately 18” deep. The water main break caused the concrete slab under the south side of our office to rise almost 10” above it’s normal height. Areas on the south side of our office actually sank a couple of inches. This caused some of the structural walls in our office to crack.
Our office is currently unusable and cannot be occupied.

The water eventually reached our warehouse and loading dock. However, the water in the warehouse never reached more than 2”-3” of depth. Because all of our product is palletized, we believe that almost none of the product stored in our warehouse was damaged.

We anticipate that we will have full power in our warehouse by Thursday, December 26 and that we will have a fully functioning warehouse(for shipping) by Monday, December 30.

On Thursday and Friday of this week we will be able to make limited local deliveries with our delivery service. If you need merchandise for this weekend please contact your salesperson via phone or e-mail and we will make every effort to get your product delivered. We will not be able to ship via Fedex ground or express until Monday, December 30.

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this situation may cause you and ask for your patience as we recover from this challenging event.
