MANCHESTER and Supporters – a restaurateur has been ready and waiting to transform this Main Street storefront in the heart of downtown into a restaurant and bar. This building was recently rescued and lovingly saved from becoming another empty shell in the heart of downtown.

The health department inspector has given his thumbs up for a detached covered kitchen on the backside of this building. BUT the city requested a Special Use ordinance to be approved, or disapproved, at its work session on Wednesday, August 27 at 9:00A.

It is the sole decision of the mayor and city council who will determine the future for downtown. This pivotal decision represents more than just a new restaurant—it embodies our city’s spirit of renewal and collective hope for a lively downtown. The proposed establishment promises the beginning of just that.
