It’s a TOTAL RESET! Stop by Booth 2070 this weekend and check out all of the newly added merchandise. Father’s Day is just a few weeks away and then right around the corner is America’s birthday and this is a big one! These events have inspired my latest booth makeover. There’s Americana, fishing, hunting, lodge, grill master, Western, sports bar, and nostalgia. You’re sure to find something for that special dude in your life or perhaps something for yourself. Here’s a peek at what to expect.

Well that’s it. Memorial Day 2026 is a wrap for me. The last of the flower orders have been delivered. Sending out a great big thank you to all who placed orders and continue to support me from year to year. 😊

Earlier this spring, there was a post in our town’s community page about a lady giving away iris from her yard to anyone who wanted to come dig them up. I answered the ad and arranged a time to come out. Once there, I got a tour of her impressive yard and we had such a pleasant visit. She ended up also giving me some lilies and a hardy succulent identified as Stonecrop. She told me that she always knew it as Forever Plant saying that’s what her mother called it and she’s the one that gave this lady the start for her current garden many many years ago. She went on to say that her mother had it for as long as she could remember. She is 80 years old! Anyway, I got everything planted in our yard and had to battle the deer over the new additions. I guess they decided the Iris didn’t taste good and finally left them alone but they still periodically eat the Stonecrop and amazingly, it just pops right back out. Her mother may be onto something about this “Forever Plant”.  I didn’t want to take any chance with the lilies that already had about 6 inches of tender green shoots, so I put those in a pot and brought them up onto the porch where the deer couldn’t get them. Patiently every day, I’ve been watching them grow taller and stronger and eventually setting buds. She wasn’t sure what color anything would be so my curiosity has been on high just waiting and wondering and then finally this morning, after the stormy night, I awakened to BLOOMS!
