The concept for the company began in March, 2014 and is based on the shared ideas and philosophies of its founders to create an online business that offers creative products and helpful resources that promote emotional healing for people when they suffer the loss of family, friends, and pets. We don’t consider ourselves to be “rocket scientists” or “inventors of the wheel”, however we do see ourse

lves as re-imaginers. When we find products or ideas that we like in one industry or that serve a certain purpose elsewhere, we re-imagine it for celebrating the life of those we cherish. Through our products we ask our customers to consider the idea of death, is it really final, or do our loved ones exist all around us? We believe so, especially in our hearts, therefore we choose to celebrate them with “keep giving” products, rather than keep-sakes. This “keep giving” philosophy is rooted in everything that we do, from hiring employees and service partners to our selection of materials. Cherished Ones uses environmentally responsible (bio-degradable and recycled) materials in the manufacturing, packaging, and shipping of its products whenever possible. Additionally, Cherished Ones commits to the “keep-giving” philosophy by donating a portion of the profit of each product sold to recognized charities.
