The Phoenix Knife House is looking for a full time knife sharpener - experience a big plus but we will train. Applicants should have a love for food/knives as we are a culinary focused knife shop (this is not a mobile service and work is performed in-store)
This position would require hand sharpening by waterstone, machine sharpening, and some in-store sales.

This is a long term career position, great for cooks/chefs looking to transition away from restaurant work while staying in the industry.

These hammered damascus knives from Ohishi are a perennial favorite. We like them for their great edge life, robust construction, and smooth performance, while many of our customers enjoy their appearance. With a core of VG-10 finely heat treated to a hardness of 61 HRC, these knives will hold a sharp edge well without the chipping, pitting, and sharpening issues we see in some of the larger production knives of this steel type.
