What many of you don't know is that I started crocheting as a coping mechanism... I needed my mind to focus on something other than my grief... now that I have somewhat challenged myself to learn something I thought was so intricate and complicated, I would like to use this talent to give back.

I am embarking on a project that I am naming "Threads of Love"... I am seeking donations of yarn of any kind which I will turn into beautiful pieces to be donated to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital at the end of summer. Other charities will be added as the response grows.
