Stella and I cranked out a quick doll bunk bed last weekend. Clint is pleased 😎
Had to batch out some pens with a patriotic theme for my mom. Still got it. 😎
My girl killing it on this bird house. “I want to do it by myself!” Is all I heard all night. 😍😐
Close up of the pull on the whiskey cabinet. Kind of freestyled it, all I knew was that I wanted to use the black cord I found. I think it matches the look of the cabinet well. 🥃😎
Whiskey cabinet is finally done! A great exercise in design and ex*****on. A little attention to detail goes a long way, and also shows you where you need to improve. Cheers! 🥃😎
Finally settled on a pull for the whiskey cabinet. A small linear handle wrapped in black cord. Now gotta figure out best way to attach it.
Using @mbtmodern business cards to set the reveal on the whiskey cabinet. Playing cards would have been cheaper 😂
#shiplap isn’t just for HGTV. I’m using it for the back of this #whiskeycabinet . 1/4” thick ash will complement the walnut nicely. Pieces won’t be glued in, as the shiplap allows for wood to expand and contract with the seasons. 😎🥃
Shelf is mortised. Interior is pre-finishes. Whiskey cabinet is coming along nicely. 🥃😎
Cool light shining through on the workbench and I cut these through mortises. 😎
Dovetails are all cut and dry fit. Now to work on a shelf. This cabinet will hold two bottles of bourbon and 2-3 glasses. 🥃😎
Using blue painter’s tape to mark dovetails. Great tip from the great Mike Pekovich. Can’t imagine doing it the old way now.
Cutting the tails for the whiskey cabinet. Gotta stop sawing past the baseline.
Time to get back to some woodworking. A dovetailed whiskey cabinet is on deck. Check out the ribbon grain on this air-dried walnut. 😋
Another box done. This one a custom project for a friend. A small salt cellar from white oak and walnut with a cool @mekwoodworks inspired pull. 3.5” square by 1.75” tall. 😎
Interior shot of the latest tea box. 😎🤙🏻
Another #teabox in the books. Figuring out this grain wrap thing. Cherry/ash/wenge. More photos to come.
Dry fitting dividers on another tea box. 😎
Paint turned out terrible on this little box. Oh well, can’t all be perfect.
One tool well done. One to go.
Icy slaburday. ❄️
Best ones yet.
Working on a tool tray for the workbench. Still a little sloppy, but luckily it’s easy to hide gaps in walnut. 😎
Finished up another box. This one a little smaller than the last couple. I made it for my brother-in-law to keep his guitar picks in. Added fabric to the bottom and really like the accent. 😎
Close up of the inside of the drawer.
Newest box is done. A pencil box made from Sapele and Wenge. Fabric on the bottom of the drawer and a homemade brass k**b. 😎
Sneak peek of the next box. 😎
Continuous grain tea box I made recently from ash, walnut, cherry, and zebrawood.
I made this ottoman from some Bubinga I had lying around and some simple fabric and foam from the craft store. I based this design on a lot of Adrian Pearsall's ottoman designs. I was also eager to try out a miter clamping technique I saw from Shaun Boyd. Here's a link to his video:
Thanks for watching, I appreciate the support!

Getting some staging help. #rocklerplywoodchallenge is in the books, video out at some point 😎
Hopefully she enjoys it for a long time. 😎
