In accordance with Governor Beshear’s decision to close all non-essential businesses in Kentucky due to concerns over COVID19, Paducah Books will be closed until further notice.

Hello all!

We have loved serving the Paducah area for the last 3+ years, but unfortunately it has become clear that continuing business as is just isn’t viable. We will be looking to sell Paducah Books in an effort to keep a local used book store in operation here, but if that isn’t possible, we will cease operation sometime in the spring/summer.

Given this, we will no longer be accepting books, DVDs, etc. in exchange for store credit. If you currently have store credit or a gift certificate, you should make plans to use them soon. (If we are able to sell our business, we will make sure the future owners will honor them).

A big thank you to everyone who has supported Paducah Books over the years!
