⛈ Important Hurricane Ian Update 🌧
With the forecasted Hurricane Ian approaching, we want to share some helpful storm preparation tips to help you be best prepared:
We highly recommend that you visit your storage unit during access hours to obtain any items needed and/or move any items in your unit away from your door.
⚠️Access hours will end today, September 28th at 5pm due to Hurricane Ian.
⚠️Access will resume after the storm has passed and any storm related issues are resolved.
Document the items inside the unit by creating a master inventory list.
If you are renting an outside parking space, make sure your covers are secure and you secure any items that could potentially become flying objects with high winds.
This is a good time to make sure we have a valid phone number, alternate contact, billing address, and email for you in case of an emergency.

Our customers are our primary concern. We want to keep you informed with the most up to date information regarding our facility operations and access during and after the approaching storm.
In an effort to keep our customers and employees safe, we plan on closing all of our locations and suspending operations starting Wednesday, September 28th at 5:00 PM and ending once the storm has passed.
Facilities will be closed and gates will be locked as of 5PM on Wednesday, September 28th. This means that it will not be possible for customers to access their storage units beginning at 5PM on Wednesday. We highly recommend that you stop by your storage unit to obtain any items needed and/or move any items in your unit away from your unit door prior to Wednesday at 5PM. If you rent a parking space, we recommend you inspect your space and ensure that your vehicles are properly secured. If these plans change, we will inform you immediately via email.
We anticipate all of our facilities to be open for normal business hours and access to all storage units and facilities to resume on Friday, September 30, 2022, weather permitting.

This Week's Neighborhood Workspace Spotlight is on Nail Dazzle, a local nail salon run by Lauren Hinshaw, an entrepreneur and mother of two beautiful girls, ages 9 and 5. Nail Dazzle provides services ranging from Manicures and pedicures to waxing, makeup, and more! Keep reading to learn about Lauren's journey and to get a great deal!! Lauren first started renting from Neighborhood Workspace when she decided to begin her own nail salon in the Fall of 2016. She saw an opportunity for the space to become something more and built it out into the dazzling salon it is today. Her salon is located right off of NE 14th Street in Ocala, FL. Lauren says she chose this location due to it's high volume of traffic. Lauren first decided to go into the cosmetology industry after working as a manager at a nail salon in the mall. She decided she wanted to open an All-American nail salon where she could make people feel beautiful and at home. Lauren says the true inspiration behind the salon was her mother, "The real reason I started this salon was for my mom. She was always there to back me up and show support". Sadly, Lauren's mother passed away due to cancer just 8 months ago. This has given Lauren even more reason to keep the salon float. "I started this with my mom and it's almost like it's a part of her now, one that I can cherish every time I come to work". Lauren says she loves her job because it gives her the ability to meet new people, make them feel confident, and show off her artistic abilities.
