🔥 July 3, 2025 – Edgewater Fishing Report 🔥
📍 Maynard Park (dirt ramp)
🕢 7:30–8:30 AM
🌊 Water: 88°F | Visibility: Zero (very dirty)
🌬️ Wind: ESE at 2 mph
🌤️ Sky: Overcast
🌊 Tide: Dead high

This one was fast and on fire. Loaded up on croaker bait in 5 minutes at a spot that rarely produces and hooked up on the first drift. Drifted the bottom and the redfish were chewing.

⚠️ Sand gnats were swarming — Level 10+
Bring spray. No excuses.

🐟 July 2, 2025 – South Causeway Fishing Report (New Smyrna Beach) 🐟
📍 South Causeway, NSB
🕢 7:30 AM
🌊 Water: 87°F | 2 ft visibility (clearing)
🌬️ Wind: SSW @ 7 mph
🌤️ Partly cloudy skies
🌊 Outgoing tide

Not a ton of bait moving this morning, but we spotted a few tarpon rolling just off the causeway. Water clarity is finally starting to improve, which means the bite could light up soon.

⚠️ Storms expected later today—be smart, get the bite, and avoid the lightning.

☀️ July 1, 2025 – Morning Water Check (Edgewater FL) ☀️
📍 Park Ave Boat Ramp – Edgewater
🕖 6:50 AM
🌊 Dirty water, ~86°F
🌬️ Light offshore wind
🌤️ Clear skies
🌧️ Rain showers expected later today

Just a quick scan of the water this morning—tide was outgoing and visibility was poor. The window is tight before the rain, so if you're heading out, fish smart.

⚡ Get the bite and don’t get struck. Keep an eye on the sky and have your weather app ready.

🌩️ Afternoon Report – June 30, 2025 🌩️
🎣 Capt. Andy Phillips (Andy Phillips Tile and Stone)
📍 River Breeze Boat Ramp – Oak Hill, FL
🕓 4:00 – 8:30 PM
🌊 Water: Zero visibility – dirty
⛈️ Weather: Storm gaps all evening
🎯 Target: Redfish
🪱 Bait: Free-lined cut mullet

Despite the dirty water and sketchy skies, Capt. Andy stuck it out and worked the cut bait pattern hard for redfish between passing storms.

🧱 Thanks to Andy Phillips Tile and Stone for supporting the local inshore scene!

🌧️ Quick Bait Mission – Edgewater FL – 6/29/25 🌧️
Hit the outgoing tide at Maynard May Park around 5:30 PM today for a fast bait run.

Zero visibility, dirty water, light rain, and a WSW breeze—but the shrimp-tipped hook did its job!

We stocked up on:
✅ Pinfish
✅ Pigfish
✅ Croaker
✅ Spot
✅ Whiting

🎣 All caught using a tiny piece of peeled shrimp on a small hook. Just enough to load the bait bucket for tomorrow’s hunt!

🔥 Fishing Report – June 28, 2025 🔥
Location: South Causeway, New Smyrna Beach, FL
Water: 88°F, murky ~2.5 ft visibility
Tide: Low at 7:00 AM
Wind: SW @ 6 mph
Sky: Clear blue!

🎣 We hit the tide change bite window and targeted redfish, tarpon, snook, trout, and ladyfish this morning. We cast netted live bait before dawn and loaded up with greenies, crabs, squid, and spot.

Best bites came right around the bottom of the tide and into the start of the incoming.

🔥 Edgewater Fishing Report – June 27, 2025 🔥
Launch: 5:45 AM @ Maynard May Park
Spot: Old Channel – Browns Bay
Water Temp: 87°F | Visibility: ~2 ft
Tide: Low around 6:30 AM
Wind: Light SW shifting SE

🎯 Chased the usual gamefish lineup this morning—sea trout, redfish, snook, and tarpon.
Only managed one trout to the board, but lost a few better fish. Still getting a feel for the Penn Spinfisher 4500, but loving the fight!

🎣 Fished live pigfish and croaker under a popping cork through the early tide.

📍This is your daily bite report for Edgewater, New Smyrna Beach, Oak Hill, and Port Orange—stay tuned for tomorrow’s update!

🌊 June 26, 2025 – Browns Bay Fishing Report (Edgewater, FL) 🌊
Launched from Maynard May Park just after sunrise today and hit Browns Bay on the paddleboard. Water temp was 87°F with slightly cloudier conditions than yesterday and an incoming tide around 6:30 AM.

🎣 Used croaker, pigfish, and pinfish under a simple bobber setup with the Penn Spinfisher + Ugly Stik Inshore Select combo.

🎯 Hooked a couple snook and possibly trout, but nothing made it onto the board today. Also free-lined a big crab hoping for a bull red or tarpon, but no takers yet.

🗺 Still, a solid morning in the Edgewater backwaters, and tomorrow looks promising with shifting tides and clearer skies.
