Hidden Treasures Flea Market is currently under new management and is a joy tucked in a shopping plaza that fro the front you wouldn't believe the number of separate shops are all contained all under the same roof.
Today the dear hubby and I wanted to find a flea market we could stroll around to spend an hour or so of our lazy Sunday off from work and after Googling Flea Markets in an around Fort Meyers we came up with this one we had never before heard of. There was just 1 review given about 6 months ago though it was a 5 star review telling of this wonderful little gem in North Fort Meyers. Upon clicking on Directions from Google we almost did not find it as we were taken to Old Pondella Rd when in fact we had driven right past it unnoticed down Pondella Rd. When we were leaving feeling defeated and sad we thought we took the 30 minute drive from Lehigh Acres, Florida here for a wasted trip we had to stop for gas which we had at the 7-11 which just happened to be right across the street from the plaza this place sits smack dab in the middle of. I was like WOW there it is hun, would you believe it was the Google Maps GPS that steered us to the wrong address making us believe it was not there anymore. Even the listed number to call hen we did said calls were not being accepted to it, and it was here the whole time! Their NEW NUMBER is #239-770-7505 and BOB is the new Manager and very interested in renting out spaces to those who wish to become vendors.
Everyone is so friendly and willing to bargain to give you a deal. We were even told by a few vendors about the availability of spaces if we wished to ourselves become vendors.
I was amazed at what we were able to get and all the the vendors were just the friendliest and we saw the kind of things one might only expect to find in Yard and Garage sales where you have to get up extra early to be the 1st ones to arrive or you miss out on all the best stuff! Prices clearly marked on everything to make shopping a pleasure and take the guess work out of our experience though everything I myself touched I was offered a much lower price than was marked on the items.
I am thinking this page is for the same place but created by the old management. I brought up the issue hubby and I had finding the place to the vendors a husband and wife team who run a wonderful little shop inside the market called "Collectibles and More". It was they who introduced me to the new manager Bob who had given us the new number.
We definitely will be returning. I hope this post gets more vendors and shoppers there so this great place lasts because its much better in my opinion that Ortiz, Flea Masters and Bonita all round up into one.
If someone was to rent a space from you, is a representative from the business required to be there at all times or do you have everyone tag their items and have one place to pay? Thank you.
