Glaze firing is always a mix of stress and excitement. It takes about 11-12 hours to get everything up to about 2300 degrees and then I have to wait an additional 12 hours before I can open it up and see the results. It feels like waiting to open presents on Christmas! During this process the glaze goes through a chemical reaction effectively making it glass. If any pieces are touching each other they will fuse together! 😵 This hasn’t happened yet so keep your fingers crossed! 🤞🏼🤞🏼
