Super excited to be getting a pair of Heterodon Platirhinos (eastern hognose) in soon. These are orange phase (with some yellow possibly showing as well) coming from Kevin Fisher: Hognoses, Etc. Platis add color as they grow and these two will be gorgeous!
Find me a better looking snake than this
Beautiful, sassy arctic shadow. Looking forward to what she’ll produce in spring 2024.

Fresh shed beauty Queen! 😍😍 Excited for spring 2023.
The girls behind our logo. Salsa is a beautiful red, superconda (100% het albino) plains/western hognose, and Lily is a stunning lilly white crested gecko. We chose a plains hognose and a crested gecko as these are the two species that began our breeding projects and gave life to Eric Hall and Eric Bitler joining together to build what we hope is an amazing business adventure. We chose the hornets nest as it represents Charlotte, NC, the community we live in and have both served for over a decade in EMS. We love the happy coincidence that the hornet’s nest takes the shape of a heart which is also a nod to our careers as paramedics. Our goal is to provide the highest quality of exotic pets without ever sacrificing on care or quality of life for these animals we truly love. We couldn’t be more excited for the future!
We do rescues and relocations too!
Who likes leachies? Yoda is ready to finally meet Yaddle, fingers crossed they get along!
Absolutely beautiful future breeder! 😍
Xenodon pulcher (tricolor hognose)
Adding some exciting new species and morphs to our projects! Future is looking bright!
Heterodon nasicus (plains hognose)
Big things coming soon. We’ve partnered up with good friends to form an llc and start working towards some lofty goals. In the very near future you will see a name change on the page to represent the new venture. We will begin doing business as Hornet’s Nest Reptiles and Exotics. Logo’s and branding are in the works and we can’t wait to share them when available. In the meantime here’s our yet to be named 2021 Drymarchon melanurus , or more commonly a Black-tailed cribo.
Can't wait for this guy to reach breeding size!
Nom Noms, got love the tarantula happy dance after catching a mouth full of crickets!
Very excited to add some some pituophis melanoleucos lodingi (black pine snake) to the family. The guys are this yr CBB hatchlings and growing quickly already.
Black pine snakes in the wild are in significant decline in large part to habitat fragmentation and other human factors. Several states have added them to their protected species lists. They are currently found in small parts of southern MS and AL.
This one is growing up to be a stunner!
Fresh shed on this Miami Axanthic Bullsnake.

Norbert has really grown on me the last few months, it still say as*hole on his tub instead of his name, he still sneaks a bite when it pleases him, but he is one of the funkiest lavenders and a proven breeder.

Chromatopelma cyaneopubscens, commonly called the green bottle blue tarantula. This small "sling" will grow into its beautiful blue, green, reddish adult coloration over the course of many molts. Being a new world tarantula this spider's venom is harmless to humans but they do possess the ability to kick urticating hairs when disturbed. #chromatopelmacyanopubescens #chromatopelma #tarantula #spider #spiders #spidersofinstagram #newworldtarantula
