Happy Thanksgiving Everyone! 🌵❤️🌵❤️🌵❤️🌵
Today was definitely one of the most memorable races of my life: 2025 Turkey Trot 10K
Turns out, I finished 2nd in the M60-64 age division to our own Governor Tim Walz!
Mile 5 got me this time I think, but I surged in the last 1.2 miles! Quite a thrill!
Scott Adam 10K splits:
Mile 1: 7:51
Mile 2: 7:43
Mile 3: 7:37
Mile 4: 7:28
Mile 5: 7:48 (Tim probably passed me here!)
Mile 6: 7:23
Mile .2: 1:40 (-7:10 pace)
I was shooting for a negative split & got it!

Bach’s Cactus Nursery in Tucson. I didn’t mind at all cooling down in the sprinklers inside one of many greenhouses in the rising heat of Sept 23rd. So many Golden Barrels at various growth stages; it takes a lot of room & patience to properly grow cacti to sellable sizes!
I did acquire various golden barrels that are available now. Also ready are Blue Myrtles, Bunny Ears, & Angel Wings & many more!
