Don’t buy gift cards from Walmart! They will scan your credit card multiple times and the balance on the gift card will be “zero”.
I tried to purchase a gift card for my mother in law and they swiped my card numerous times just to tell me the gift card is defective. No the customer service and management is defective. I left WITHOUT a gift card and checked my bank account and they charged me for the card.
I came back that night and was told “ wait until tomorrow it may take your bank a while to refund you the money”
Came back the next day was told “ wait until Monday for the accountants ”
I called Monday no one called me back
I’m still waiting for this issue to be taken care of professionally. Walmart still owes me the money I paid for the gift card. All the employees said was “ do you have the gift card” NO! Who would take a gift card with them that has no balance!
I came with PROOF my bank statement and the receipt that said “ gift card not activated” but the management and employees seem to care less. Rude and unprofessional
