Announcing the winners of our Halloween Music Video Contest and the 21-Day Practice Challenge!

In the age group of 4-6, Isla McGregor won a prize for her performance of “Part of Your World.” 👑 🦄

In the age group of 7-10, Leon Smith Liss won for his groovy “Ghostbusters” video. 👻🪄

For our 21-Day Practice Challenge, Alex Bull won for his persistence and dedication in setting and achieving his goal of performing Thriller (and making a great Halloween video!) 🕺🎃

Recital Tips! 🎹💫

It’s recital time! 🎹💫 Here are a few tips to help you on stage.

🎹 Relax and breathe. You got this!

🎹 Count your beats before you start playing. Start at a slower tempo than you feel. Everything feels faster on stage.

🎹 Feel the music and focus on the moment. Avoid autopilot, which can result in losing your spot.

🎹 If something unexpected happens, keep going! Rhythm first!

🎹 Remember to breathe.

🎹 Bow and smile!

We Love Teaching Little Ones! 🎹🤍

When are kids ready to start piano lessons? It depends on their interest level and finding an instructor good with young children. I personally love starting kids on piano at ages 4 or 5, because I love their positive energy! The recitalist in this video was 3! 🌟🎹🤍
