As most of you already know from previous stories…we got an adventure pup!
But we had to make a video to remember this day.
We knew we wanted a herding/working dog to keep up with our lifestyle so we had been on the lookout for a litter.
But we also knew we wanted to get a rescue.
So when found out that the High Country Humane Society in Flagstaff had a litter of heeler mix puppies we made the secret plan to go “check them out” the following day.
“Check them out”…famous last words 😅
They ended up having 2 different litters of puppies so we let the kids hang out with them and interact & sat back and observed.
You can tell a lot about a puppy when it is in a hectic environment. After taking it all in we narrowed it down to one.
As you can see we fell in love with this little guy, decided to take him home & then the tears of joy started flowing!
Everyone welcome Ripper! Soon to be ripping down the mountain bike trails with us!

Got to Cottonwood, unpacked, tossed the in the Rambhorgini & headed straight to Sedona!
Ended up finding a Bike Skills Park that was EPIC. Be prepared to pedal your ass off back to the top of the trailheads. But the ride down on all the trails were worth it.
There is a little something for everyone…even the more experienced riders.
Then came back to the campground for a sunset swim session.

We adopted an alpaca for the day!
The kids got to walk our friend Henry around while learning about the orchard farm and how they use the alpaca fur to make blankets and other things.
Super fun day!
But now we are having to convince Emerson that Henry can not come home with us and we do not have the room for another family member 😅
If you are ever in the Palisade area make sure to check out just be prepared to have the “no we can’t take him home” talk with the kids afterwards 😂

Check out how I expanded our front storage area!
We knew this area was a big sacrifice to get our living space layout compared to other rigs that have giant full pass through storage.
But I was confident in the fact that I could make it work.
And I think it was accomplished!
If you are a full-time RVer, you know how big of a factor weight is and how easy it is to overload your RV.
In the end the space got bigger, but not big enough to hoard a bunch of BS.
Stoked with the end result!
I even came up with a cool idea for the plastic tub right inside the door…but you’ll have to stick around and see what I did there! 😉

Found out & were coming to Grand Junction and you know damn well we weren’t missing this show!
When we started talking about our dream of hitting the road and traveling full-time, song Orange Sky played a HUGE part in that.
The line “you can’t live life for the weekend” hit home so hard with us.
We would blast this song on repeat at the house, in the car…literally all the time.
Realizing we had been sucked into the daily grind and really were living for the weekend was hard. But it pushed us even harder to get out and enjoy life as a family.
From the bottom of our hearts, we cannot thank Josh and the rest of the band for not only making this song(and all of their other music of course), but taking the time at the end of the show to meet & take pictures with us and the boys!
Our dream felt like it came full circle on this night. You can even hear it in Landon’s voice when he’s belting out the lyrics.
Truly a night we will never forget!

These e-bikes are too damn fun!
We knew we would enjoy them but they have exceeded our expectations by a long shot!
Now if only we could convince them to partner up so we can get Landon a MSFT to complete the family! 😜
