We have a new bottle baby calf who is super tiny but a spitfire little girl. She was born with a white spot on her forehead in the shape of a maple leaf so my son in law promptly named her Maple.

Due to the air quality many of us have sat inside to keep healthy. Now that the air quality has improved and the nights are getting cooler its time to think about fall planting. Lavender loves to be planted in the fall for spring blooms. We have many plants available for your garden needs. I suggest planting Provence and Fred Boutin for fantastic blooms and their culinary abilities. We are open Fridays and Saturdays 9 to 12 and you can find our booth at the farmers market Saturdays 8 to 1 at 5th and Browne. Come see what you can put in the garden this weekend!

The lavenders are in full bloom and my little barn store is looking mighty cute since my daughter rearranged all the pretty stuff! Come down and visit Fridays and Saturdays 9 to 1 and have a look. ( I ‘ll even let you pet a cute miniature cow)

Its a perfect time to harvest your lavender! Lavender is now in full bloom and now is the time to harvest it for use later in the year. Harvest early in the morning before the sun gets too hot. cut stems with buds and bundle into your hand and place a rubber band around the bottom of the flowers where it meets the stems. Place another rubber band at the bottom of the bundle. this rubber band should be tight as the bundle will shrink as it dries. Now hang the bundle upside down and let dry. This can take 3 to 7 days. Now you have a bundle of dried lavender to enjoy any season of the year! Don't have a lavender plant? No worries just amble on down to your nearest lavender farm like Garden Gate Lavender Farms and do a U-Pick experience and bring home a bundle of lavender on your own!

We are open for business on the farm Fridays and Saturdays 9-1. Come see us this summer and feed the miniature cows, gather eggs and visit our super cute barn store!

The rain seems to never stop. I just finished cleaning my chicken coop again! I am trying to constantly keep up with all the wet dirty feet coming into my coop. I feel like I have 60 little children with mud on their feet. LOL!

Devouring my baguette from common crumb that I bought at the farmers market at 5th and Browne today.

Just washed some of my new chickens eggs. They seem to be more turquoise than blue. Still a pretty color and I am sure they will still be tasty for breakfast.

So we just drove all the way from Northpoint Spokane. Both your website and page clearly stated you were open today. Double checked before we left. Drove all the way and seen nothing but a padlocked gate. Drove around and around looking for an alternative entrance nothing. No signs, closed gates and half a tank of gas wasted. Would appericate better communication especially since this outing was for a birthday . Dissapointed with this business.
Love the baby 😍
Thanks for the fun time today...I loved how he kept posing for me 😊
