Winter Build-Off at TalkBass.com season is again upon us, the theme this year is "Let Your Nerd Flag Fly". I decided to manifest my nerdyness in this case with a 7-String with a built-in MIDI controller. As for the shape I decide to go with a modified RD shape. Since it evolved into a kind of cyber-punk thing, I'm calling it the Neuromancer.

Top glued on to the back with marine epoxy, roughly trimmed to shape. I like to wait until after I've done the neck pocket to remove the cutaways so that I have support for the router base. Also pickups have arrived from Bare Knuckles Pickups courtesy of Halo Guitars.
