One of our favorite trips we do twice a year - (spring and fall) for Fayetteville Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing. There is nothing better than supporting our veterans and giving back to them. Mountainman Joe Stines and Mike Scramm down from Pa. to guide today and tomorrow, making the day amazing. Thank you to Jon Rouse and everyone at Fayetteville Project Healing Waters Fly Fishing for putting these trips together.

We are less than 30 days away from the 4th Annual Maggie Valley Fly Fishing & Outdoor Festival. Every year, this festival brings out a collection of fly fishers, fly tyers, and people who just love being in the outdoors. The festival gates open Friday, May 22nd, 12-6pm, and then again, all day Saturday, May 23rd, 9am-5pm. All veterans, first responders, and kids 12 and under are free all weekend. This year we feature our fly tyers coming out and front and center as you walk into the festival grounds. The casting pond will be in the center of the festival with a kids, amateur, and pro division casting contest. We have close to 100 vendors showing up, live music, food vendors, and Euro clinics, and a film being shown by Charity Rutter on Friday at 5pm.
