The final creation using this azurite/malachite in matrix stone is totally different than what I thought it would be when I bought it. I like the challenge of working with a stone's lines and textures, sometimes mimicking those aspects in the silver surround. This pendant is 1 3/16" x 2", suspended from a 20" adjustable snake chain, and can be found at the Cassidy Gallery in Conway, NH. The following notice tells how you can also buy a Gift Certificate there.
This morning there were wet leaves on the ground and it still looked like late autumn. In the blink of an eye, the scene changed to winter. In just a short time all is now white. With snow coming down, the trees and ground are all covered, making it look and feel a lot more as though Christmas is on the way. Would someone like to receive these Pearled Wing earrings under their Christmas tree?

Are you sad that the leaves have all turned brown and fallen? Keep some sterling silver leaves for year-round enjoyment. Choose between my original larger leaves, the small leaves on posts with curlique stems, or the leaf dangles which flutter freely from your ear like poplar leaves in a breeze.
Every once in a while I come up with something that is very architectural in design, Nary a curlique, circle or pearl in sight. This Chrysocolla-Malachite pendant, suspended from a 16" sterling silver omega chain seemed to plan itself.
All colors is the theme of the day at the League of NH Craftsmens final day of the Virtual Fair
This Rainbow Calsilica matching pair fits that description. What shall I create with these?

Purple is the color of the day for the League of NH Craftsmen Virtual Fair (nhcrafts.org). The stones are Charoite from Russia. They have a secure latch on the back to secure the wire. They are available at the League of NH Craftsmen Shop in Nashua, NH. where you can also see the work of most of the artists participating in the Virtual Fair. Your continued support of the League organization, the individual shops and the hard-working craftspeople is very much appreciated.

The color of the day at the League of NH Craftsmen Virtual Fair (nhcrafts.org) is Blue. A fine example of blue is Lapis Lazuli, such as in this pair of sterling silver earrings with a touch of 14K gold dot at the bottom and as the top curls. As with all of my special earrings, there is a latch closure on the back to secure the wire. See my work at all of the League of NH Craftsmen Shops. I'm still working on my website that crashed (LindaSorensenJewelry.com); I hope that you will be able to see it in successfully soon.
This is the 4th day of the League of NH Craftsmen Virtual Fair (nhcrafts.org) Aug 1st - 9th. Check out the daily activities, demonstrations, the Art, Craft and Design special exhibition (which is open to the public at the League's Concord Headquarters) and when you are ready to shop, the website will direct you to the websites of participating craftspeople. I'm still working on mine. It was up and running successfully, then it crashed over the weekendm which I spent going round in circles on the computer. It's getting better, so check it out, as I will be improving it (I hope!!!) and adding new work all week.
This is the time of year I usually let people know what booth I'm going to be in at the League of NH Craftsmen Fair at Sunapee State Park in Newbury, NH. As you might expect, it is not going to happen this year, not outside anyway. This year it is a Virtual Fair, online next week, the usual first full week of August. You will be able to "attend" the fair in air- conditioning, or on your porch or in your yard, and from the device of your choice. You will be able to visit the websites of craftspeople, watch demos and interviews and more. For more information go to nhcrafts.org for a full schedule and list of participants.
This "Remembering Paris" Pendant is in the special Arts, Craft and Design exhibition as well as on my website, LindaSorensenJewelry.com.
The 86th Annual League of NH Craftsmen Fair at Mt. Sunapee Resort in Newbury, NH is August 3 - 11, 10 am - 5 pm daily. For those of us who exhibit there, panic has set in. I'm still selecting stones from my collection to make pendants. There are bits, pieces and ideas everywhere.

The League of NH Craftsmen Fair at Sunapee State Park in Newbury, NH starts a week from today. It runs from Saturday August 6th thru Sunday, August 14th, 10 - 5. The next few days will be the final push to have stock ready. This Purple Lace Agate pendant is one of my favorite pieces that I will be offering this year, in Tent 6, corner booth 20.
I'd really rather be making things, either in my jewelry studio, or at my spinning wheel or knitting or quilting or drawing, but "they" say I must have a presence on social media, so here goes. . . . .
