"It's not goodbye, it's i'll see you later."

It comes with a heavy heart that I make this announcement. Next week will be my last week as the manager at Southern Charm. I have accepted a position as head of marketing and graphic design at a company in Hickory.

It is a very bittersweet moment for me to accept. I have called Southern Charm my second home for the last 7 years of my life. It has always been my fun job, where I send my friends to pick up a bottle of “the good stuff”, where I have met life-long friends and created lasting relationships. This week has been full of many mixed emotions (mostly tears) I will miss it dearly.

To Dwight and Carolyn, thank you for teaching me everything I know about being a hard and driven worker. Thank you for taking me in as one of your own children and loving me like one as well. You are truly my family for life and I love you both.

To Rob and Emily, thank you for allowing me to continue working along side you both as you learn your new business and allowing my creative mind to soar. I wish you both all the best in the future and will continue sending customers your way. Love you tons.

To all my customers who have become friends, thank you for how truly enjoyable you have made my job over the years. From bachelorette parties, to friendly regulars, you guys have been the best.

To all my vendors, thank you for giving me the opportunity to work with you and becoming such great friends. I’m sure you will see me in the future.

To everyone who has ever stopped by to see me in action, you knew how much I loved this place and how much I enjoyed my job. Thank you for making my years here some of the best of my life. I will keep these memories near and dear to my heart for the rest of my life.

I will be in the store for the final time next Tuesday - Saturday. Stop in and show me some love. I’m sure I’ll be around here and there in the future.
