Historic Trappe and Americana Insights are happy to announce Karl Pass as one of the speakers at our upcoming Americana Symposium on March 13 to 15!
Karl Pass received a B.A. from Warren Wilson College and an M.A. from the Pennsylvania State University. His master’s thesis topic was carver Wilhelm Schimmel and included articles in Folk Art magazine and Cumberland History, and an exhibit at the Cumberland County Historical Society. He has lectured on the topic at various organizations and has free-lanced with Maine Antique Digest since 2001. He has been editor at Antiques & Auction News since 2013, is the president of the 501(c)3 Berks County Antique Dealers Association and serves on the board of the 501(c)3 Friends of Heishman’s Mill.
