Are you able to help?
Music and its amazing community of people are the reasons we started this journey as an entertainment venue. It’s been a wonderful couple of years of with over 300 music events involving hundreds of friends…both artists and fans. We thank each one of you who supported Buck’s dream along the way.
Decreasing attendance by fans of live music events throughout the industry has negatively affected many, including us. Staying true to our plan of bringing in a diversity of live music may have cost our future. Unfortunately, the community did not support the cost of the bands, let alone overhead, in most cases. With heavy hearts, we must announce that due to financial reasons, The Chadakoin Club and its On Deck Stage will end that journey on December 31st, unless a holiday miracle happens. We hope that holiday miracle can be found with all of you…
Most new adventures use a Kickstarter, Go Fund Me or other type of group funding to launch. We launched self-funded, with some help from local agencies. We thank them for their support. We struggled each month and, in some way, managed to keep sailing, until now.
To help The Chadakoin Club continue to support music and entertainment in our area, we turn to all of you for help. Unconventional, yes, that’s been our style of business…we believe in partnerships. The entertainment industry has changed drastically in the past few years and changes are needed in how business is done to survive. In the spirt of partnerships, we’re all in this together…if you are able, please donate through a link or contact us for alternate methods. No amount is too small, as they say…it takes a village. In this case, our community of entertainers and fans.
There is an urgent need for help in order to keep The Chadakoin Club doors open past the end of this month of December, year of 2019. Large problems are easier solved with smaller solutions. No donation is too small to help solve the large problem, it could all add up and allow us to have a fighting chance as we adjust expenses and the business plan.
We need to raise enough by December 29th to keep the doors open for 2020. It is our goal to bring even more great shows in to this venue developed by a musician for musicians. If we don’t raise what is needed to stay open, rest assured any funding by donations will go to debts within the music industry that have been incurred, so we don’t leave any financial burdens on our music community
If you'd like to know more of how you, personally and/or professionally, could partner with and/or sponsor this journey of continuing to bring live entertainment to our area on a larger scale, please contact us for a proposal....
If you can help financially or in any other way at this time, we will never be able to thank you enough.
Whether you can assist in this effort or not, we still thank you for your time and consideration.
Please, take the time to support the journeys of all the entertainers who have blessed our stages with their talents…they are the reason we are here. Support their online efforts, see their shows and buy their merchandise. Hopefully we didn’t forget anyone when we can complete the list below of those that supported us with their performances. It will be our pleasure continuing to support them in any way we can, whether it’s as The Chadakoin or personally or both.
Thank you for your time and consideration.
